“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” PS 33:6

 

Where ever God’s word goes – His Spirit goes with it. As God’s word goes out of His mouth, so His Spirit – which is His breath – goes with it.  The word of God & The Spirit of God always work together in perfect agreement.

 

This verse illustrates it beautifully.

 

The Bible says that God literally breathed His Holy Spirit into His word. The words of God are “Spirit – filled”.  In 2 Tim 3:16 where it says that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, the word translated inspiration literally means “in the breathed of God.”  

 

This is why the bible is called “The Living Word”.

Jesus is the Living Word! ! !

 

I love the richness & the vastness of the word of God. You never stop learning its priceless & timeless truths.  PS 119:89 tells us that the Bible is not a product of time but of eternity.  It contains the eternal mind & counsel of God, formed before the beginning of time.

 

Jesus said to the disciples in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit will bring to their remembrance everything Jesus spoke to them. This shows that the word of God was Spirit inspired & not left up to the memories of its writers.
